Orangutan Spotted at Royal Wedding

WINDSOR-- A baby orangutan was spotted at the Royal Wedding on May 19th, hanging from the arm of a British Guard. Despite the unusual situation, the guard was able to remain calm until the newly-weds passed through the doorway. He then called for help, and the orangutan was taken back to its home at a nearby zoo.

According to our sources, the orangutan escaped from Windsor Safari Park late Saturday evening, and was missing for several hours. The runaway orangutan supposedly reached over the top of his cage and unlocked the door, setting himself free. Luckily, there were no other orangutans that escaped from his cage.

The orangutan, apparently named Bubba, ran over 5 miles to arrive at the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry this past weekend. According to the Queen of England, Bubba did not receive a formal invitation, but of course was welcome.

When we asked Markle if she noticed the orangutan while walking, she claimed, "No, I did not. I heard some funny noises and smelled something a bit peculiar, but I just assumed it was my husband."

When we asked Prince Harry the same question, he said, "No, I didn't notice. I was too focused on my beautiful new wife." The couple has been married for a total of 3 days are are still going strong, according to our sources.

Bubba the orangutan is also back at home, trying to figure out another way to escape to congratulate his friends on their wedding. According to our Monkey translator, Bubba claimed that he "was very upset that he never got the chance to speak to his hosts at their wedding because the animal control workers were being awful pushy."
